Our Family Memorial

Established in 1974 by Mr Coopo Tanjan and his wife Goodie Tanjan, Goodies Funerals has been a family-owned business dedicated to providing compassionate and professional funeral services. Mr Coopo was assisted by family members and his eldest son Ramesh Dhanapalan Tanjan until his passing in December 1990. Following Ramesh's death, Mr Coopo's two younger sons, Dion and Deevash Tanjan, took over the management of Goodies Funeral Directors. The family experienced further losses with the passing of Goodie Tanjan in March 2011 and Mr Coopo Tanjan in July 2012. Just six weeks later, in August 2012, Deevash Tanjan also passed away, leaving Dion to continue the business. In 2013, Dion's oldest son, Yasheel (known as Kevin), joined the family business, with his younger brother Yeshaal assisting while still in school. Tragically, Yeshaal passed away in September 2016, leaving Dion and Kevin to carry on the family legacy. However, in November 2019, Kevin also passed away, leaving Dion to continue running the business with his wife, Dinusha.
